SAFETYDRAPE - CCTV Systems - The IBIS Foxhole Camera™ - Tactical Training Combat Simulator - UAV Systems
Armored vehicles - Product installation, refurbishment and monitoring

In the last decade IBIS realized the need for innovative and technically advanced security products. We have taken a new direction and work with several brilliant inventors to enhance and promote their products. IBIS also manufactures and sells highly specialized security equipment under the IBIS and Tamarisk brand names.

IBIS Security Services naturally uses many off-the-shelf, state-of-the-art cameras, lenses, alarms and security systems as appropriate for a client’s circumstances. IBIS also distributes certain products from other manufacturers. It is worth noting that IBIS will not sell any manufacturer’s product unless IBIS has had an opportunity to independently field test the product without restriction.

We provide security and technical personnel to install other security related systems anywhere in the world. In addition, we will train your local personnel and supervisors in the operation of the system.

Note: The sale of certain products is restricted.

For certain Specialized Products an End User Certificate, (EUC) is required prior to discussing price or supply.

Designed for high threat perimeter defense, the Foxhole Camera™ with a Microwave, Rf or Satellite feed to Command and Control, operating with solar power, connected to computerized sensors and highly sensitive listening devices works independently to protect remote borders and your frontier.

How does it work? The IBIS Foxhole Camera™ System stays at rest in its sealed in-ground housing until it is woken up by an alert. The sensors can distinguish between the local wildlife, footsteps and vehicles.

Example: The sensor(s) hears trucks, alerts, raises the camera to the top of an 18’ (or higher), mast and looks in the direction of the noise to see what caused the alert. The camera can see in the dark or in bright sun and transmits video back to its human supervisor at the Command and Control Centre. The supervisor takes appropriate action, and tells the camera to keep the event under surveillance or to go back to rest.

Solar power: The cameras are designed for long term operation in remote locations off the power grid as required.

Communications: By Rf; on the Cellular system; Microwave Relay; Laser link or Satellite up Link.

Easy to install: Dig a hole with a truck mounted posthole digger (or by hand) and drop it in. IBIS technicians with your people can install and set up each camera system in a few hours.

What options are there? There are various options in both the cameras and the sensors such as Video Motion Detection (VMD); Object Tracking; Off-camera Stimuli: Sound Motion, Vibration, Temperature; Face Recognition; License Plate ID; Super Telephoto; See through dust. IR, LIn; Tell us your wish list.

How many do I need? IBIS Foxhole Cameras Systems are sentries. Each camera system in a chain should be able to see its neighbors on the right and left, so each camera system supports the others. (On flat terrain, that means 2 - 3 per Km).

How tough are they? The system is designed and proven to work at very high temperature desert conditions, and be sand proof. IBIS can provide cameras that can withstand a nearby IED or a direct hit from 9mm and keep working.

Where is the system deployed now? Sorry, we can’t tell you where. The system is suitable for any location where trespassers are likely to intentionally damage cameras such as country borders or facilities with serious security issues.

The Tactical Training Combat Simulator System trains individuals or teams through State-of-the-Art Virtual Reality in real life scenarios.
This not a video game! The trainees do not just look at a screen or circle of screens!

The trainee is actually fully immersed in the scenario, and moves around the Training Bay in a virtual world, populated with hostiles, friendlies and non-combatants which move and interact with each other and the trainee. The hostiles are intelligent. They track the trainee, take cover, retreat, advance, and use intuitive behavior to accomplish their mission. The instructor can be in the scenario with the trainee invisibly as a participant, as a non combatant or as a hostile. The scenarios are custom designed for each customer using scenery, hostiles, civilians and sounds which represent the scene you are creating for the trainee.

The scene depicted to the right is an Afghan street scene. The scenarios are created using motion capture technology which consists of fully integrated proprietary hardware and software coupled with proprietary intelligent cameras.

This system is applicable for military, police and security training.

A demonstration DVD is available upon request for government, corporate or institutional clients.
